Compiled by leading underground rap outfit Final Penalty, 'Strength In Numbers Volume One' is a brilliant fourteen track album that is well worth checking if you like that Sacramento, Memphis underground dark sinister sound. Kicking off with the title track from Final Penalty, we get a barrage of killer tracks from the likes of LATE, with his Tricksta produced ‘Real’ anthem, as well as excellent contributions from Deezil Greezil, Mr 44 and P Knuckle. UK female emcee Jai Boo features too with ‘Don’t Look At Me’, an excellent three verse monster that sees Cinnicati rapper Gonja as well as label-mate LATE feature. Dat Boi “O”, Naz B and Tommy "The Gucc" Vercetti amongst others also feature. This is a great release and shows that the underground is far from dead, in fact it’s the opposite, this proves all the best music is on independent record labels. This CD only release is available now from CD Baby for only $9.99 (The direct link is below). 01. Final Penalty - Strength In Numbers Available from Review by Brendan Deane |
