Sole and the Skyrider Band ‘Hello Cruel World’ Anticon co-founder and hip hop visionary Sole dropped his new full length album on August 8th since his split with Anticon. This is his 3rd album with the Skyrider Band. Sole has assembled an army of voices, recruiting everyone from Lil B, Xiu Xiu, Pictureplane, Sage Francis, Ceschi plus more. Listeners will notice that Sole has adopted the most deliberate flow of his career, the record draws on a new wealth of his newly found freedom transforming his past cynicism into a call to arms and personal empowerment. The Skyrider Band has been similarly transformed trading in their dense organic soundscapes to studio-centric productions.
