‘No Favours’ is the brand new album from London rapper, producer and all around creatively talented Supar Novar. This time around Supar Novar has done it alone, and I mean alone… from the recording, the mixing, the production, the music videos, even the artwork! Kicking off with ‘Darker Days’ you get a vibe of what of the album what will be on. The title track sees Supar Novar tell it how it is, before we get a selection of quality tracks such as the video track ‘Done It All Before’ and the anthemic ‘Here I Am’. The album shows great diversity as he goes in deep on a few cuts such as ‘For You’ and the superb track ‘My Little Girl’ where Novz dedicates a track to his daughter. On the whole this album is quality for so many reasons. It’s a seasoned veteran doing his thing, but doing it alone and he has served up some bubblegum free Hip-Hop in an era where a lot of artists are opting for a more commercial sound. Make sure support real Hip-Hop and buy this album on iTunes now. ‘No Favours’ is a quality UK Rap album that remains solid throughout, both lyrically and production. Big. Review by Tricksta. |
