LATE’s back with another new album which has been released to alongside the launch of his new website of the same name. Here we get twelve tracks, all unreleased material some new brand new remixes, new tracks and some rather nice spits. Kicking off with the instantly energetic ‘A Mic, Laptop, 2 Decks & A Mixer’ we soon get into a barrage of well-round Hip-Hop tracks such as the brand new remix of ‘I’m Still Here’ and the rather catchy ‘H.U.S.T.L.E.R’.

Other tracks that impressed where the jump off video track ‘Scientific Wordplay’, ‘We Do This’ and the excellent head-nodding remix of ‘Mic Controllers’ featuring Iron Braydz, TBear, Supar Novar, K9, Genesis Elijah, Creamo, Streetz, Jai Boo & Serocee. There’s a real quality to the songs and even down to the choice of guests. Experience does show, and LATE has now been consistently releasing music now for over a decade and even now still really continues to impress me.

What I loved about this release was its pure realness and the ‘straight to the point’ vibe that LATE gives off. This for me is much more than your average UK Runnings mixtape and I think the fact that Tricksta has made the effort to produce and remix the whole project speaks volumes. Next up from LATE is the much anticipated ‘Street Science’ album, but this will definitely keep you going.
