ADULTHOOD

Adulthood is now showing in cinemas, it’s a 6 year follow on to kidulthood. If you liked the first one you should defiantly go to see it.  The story follows the life of the main character Sam after him spending 6 years in prison for killing a guy in kidulthood. It is realistic of what is happening in inner city areas.  not to give to much of the plot away the film focuses on the day of Sam getting out of prison and the obstacles a killer back on the street faces, it also shows how each character from kidulthood dealt with the death of there friend.  It was professionally done, and shows the reality of what’s going on in the urban inner cities in the UK and the negativity of gang culture.  Make sure you pick this up when it comes out on DVD. It also contains music from the leading UK underground urban circuit.
