We all know and love James Brown, he is a true musical legend whose life will be remembered for centuries to come, as one of the funkiest men to ever walk on planet earth. From his rising hits in the 1950’s through to his flourishing career in the 1960’s and 1970’s, JB is the man!
This DVD is worth its weight in gold as you get to see James step out with his full band which consists of members jamming on Alto Sax, Tenor Sax, Trumpet, Flugelhorn, Keyboards, Guitar, Bass, Drums, Congos, while he has backing singers too! This is a might event and is a must see even if it’s only for the fact he is such a legend and the fact that his suit is so damn fly! He effortlessly performs to a packed audience and goes through some of the classic material we all love such as ‘Get Up Offa That Thang’, ‘ I Feel Good’, ‘It’s A Mans World’ and ‘Papa’s Got A Brand New Bag’ amongst others.
This DVD is a real must buy, not just for fans of James Brown, or fans of funk, but mainly just for anybody who appreciates good music. James Brown is a legend who is no longer with us, but his music lives forever. Make sure you cop this!
