This superb CD and DVD package was originally released in July 2006, but it still is the perfect collection for any discerning Mr. Sche or Memphis Rap fan. The DVD features behind the scenes documentation of Mr. Sche and the daily life of a Memphis producer and artist. The two hour documentary is a little long I feel, but then on the other hand where else can you see so much raw underground footage. You get music videos, live shows, custom rides, behind the scenes and on the set of the smash film ‘Hustle & Flow’, interviews, studio sessions, as well as special guests Al Kapone, Immortal Lowlife, DJ Squeeky and DJ Junkaz Lou. The CD soundtrack features all new songs of some of the South's most credible artists such as Kingpin Skinny Pimp, Lil Jon, Nasty Nardo, Indo G, Al Kapone, Tom Skeemask and much more. A very enjoyable watch and an extremely good listen. Its projects like this that make me realize why I love independent rap labels so much. The whole vibe here is so creative, inventive and really well-presented which is why it gets a massive 10 out of 10 from me! Review by Tricksta |
