The man, the genius and the down right talented, Pharrell Williams has been an integral part of Hip-Hop ever since he bust back on the scene with partner Chad Hugo as The Neptunes. What’s amazing about Pharrell is that he has actually been around for a lot longer. His early work included writing a verse for Wreckx-N-Effect’s 1992 hit ‘Rump Shaker’, as well as performing a rap solo on SWV’s ‘Right Here’ hit too! The Neptunes started out producing for Blackstreet, Mase, N.O.R.E before really coming to light in 1999 when they produced and worked heavily with Kelis. Tracks for Mystikal and Ol’ Dirty Bastard followed, and now the rest as they say is history! This DVD pays homage to the legend that is Pharrell Williams, giving us the story and in-depth commentary.
