This new EP from London rapper AC is something well worth checking for if you like Hip-Hop that hits you between the eyes. Kicking off with a brass led double tempo vibe produced by the talented Deadman Walkn, ‘Allow That’ sees AC drop a banger to get this new EP to an amazing start. The beat and AC’s flow work hand in hand so well as is witnessed on the uplifting ‘Get Better’ which sees AC once again go in spitting some nice social commentary and political awareness through out. ‘Real Grafters Remix’ sees Grand Central jump on board for the EP’s only feature, with the deeper ‘Sometimes I Wonder’ seeing Deadman Walkn once again deliver a super tight beat. The EP is rounded up by ‘Work’ a nice grove produced by June 25th. On the whole the EP is a very enjoyable listen and something all discerning Hip-Hop fans should check for. If you’re hungry then go and eat this… its good food. Reviewed by Tricksta |
