This is such a great project and just reminds me of how the diverse the UK has become, but on the other hand it’s reminded me of those days gone by when UK Hip-Hop was on a more lyrical tip. Well Endemic & Cappo are taking it back to the essence and for that I salute them. This is many different things, but above all its good quality Hip-Hop, no actually, scrap that I mean good as in excellent!

Cappo has always been a personal favourite of mine from when he dropped his classic EP on Son Records. Cappo is a UK legend and now with him teaming up with world renowned producer Endemic this is a good look for all parties involved. From the ‘Intro’ which is more like a short track, this really impresses. The title track starts off with a nice sample before a sharp snare kicks the track which is then complimented by strings a nice sub-bass and Cappo’s intelligent metaphors.

The third of the seven tracks here sees Cappo team up with London rappers Cyrus Malachi and Iron Braydz who both bring some lyrical fire to the situation. Next up is the instrumental of ‘Needle Drop’ before we get one of my favourite tracks on the EP ‘Crumbs’. Cappo really excels on this track and I love the hook which is backed with a nice piano led groove. Nottingham legends Scorzayzee and Lee Ramsay, and London’s talented Cyrus Malachi and Iron Braydz turn up on the massive ‘Eagles’ where we get a real Nottingham/London collobo’ done well.

Could this be a future UK Rap classic? This seven track EP has me fiending for more. Can we get a full length album please? LOL! I am properly in this EP, and I think you should support this. This is REAL Hip-Hop.
