Four tracks here on this well packaged and well produced EP from J-Mill. Not to be confused with Jae Millz, Jamal ‘Makin It Livin Large’ is a rapper that could do serious damage. His vocal tone is similar to Jay-Z, but his flow is fully original and he raps on beat with ease. ‘My OppOneNt’ is the pick of the four tracks, nice organs, deep bass and a wicked horn section set the stage nicely. ‘Gangsta Boo’ would work well on radio, but check the fourth joint too ‘We Can Go Feat Edjee’ which also has mass appeal. Tight EP for real.
