Anyone out there into the more experimental turntablism type Hip-Hop with mad off-key samples such as Rolf Harris and Kung-Fu type madness?!!! Well this is for YOU! Because this is y'know... umm... erm…. Let me try and explain... think of Mr. Scruff mixed up with Peanut Butter Wolf with lashings of Coldcut and a couple of bags off their own flavour mixed in for good measure!! From techno fused beats like ‘Bugged’ right over to the ‘Café Del Mar-esque ‘Head To The Woods’ to the rock/jungle inspired ‘we Make It Rock’ this mini-album from Nottingham’s Andy & Matt is totally refreshing! I think this type of musical is good to get people from other genres on some real UK Hip-Hop talent. Its releases like this that keeps the UK scene so original and diverse. Brilliant.
