After Midnight Productions is a music production company based in San Francisco, California that was established in 2003 by Damon H. and Sean F. Together they released the superb album called "After Midnight Productions presents Things II Come Vol. 1". Tricksta hooked up with Damon H to find out a little more.
Hi Damon, for those that don’t know, tell the people a little about your album "After Midnight Productions presents Things II Come Vol. 1". How features came about and how long did it take to come together?
It is a R&B and Hip based compilation that featured music from our production company, as well as “hand picked” artists and producers from the San Francisco Bay Area to as far as Germany. To put everything together, we used AOL chat rooms, MySpace, and Word of mouth. It took about a year to get everything together.
There’s a lot of talent in the Bay. Are there artists you are thinking of doing albums with or producing tracks for?
Yes, we are working with a couple local artists on their projects: Hip Hop artists Young Tae from Oakland CA, and Blakk of RoyalT Records from Sacramento, CA and also I might add that AMP not only works with artists just from The Bay Area but recently Collaborated with Hip Hop artist Scooter from Madisonville Kentucky with the assistance of Hip Hop producer DJ AbbiCo from North Hollywood CA.
Who would you most like to work with and why?
Undiscovered Artists and artists who are currently making a name for themselves. Why? Because, we are a production company for the people.

The radio out there seems to be up on your sound and are supporting. What stations in particular are playing your tracks?
KPOO in San Francisco, CA, GMSRadio.com, Cleveland OH UMFM 101.5 FM (The Joint’s Show) Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada, KZSC 88.1 FM in Santa Cruz, CA KZSU 90.1 FM in Stanford, CA MaxHeat.com in Akron, OH
Have any of your tracks dropped as singles? Are they any music videos or footage of you on You Tube?
Well, to answer that question, not only are we a music production company we also do promotions and recently had the opportunity to fly out to Burbank CA, and meet Qui, which is Jerry Rice’s daughter of the San Francisco 49’ers. She has a single out called “Rev It Up” f. David Banner; you can view the video on my MySpace page.
You are currently working with artists from Sacramento CA, Oakland CA, San Francisco, San Jose CA and Kentucky just to name a few. Anybody we’d know?
Yes that’s correct. They are unsigned artists; they will be coming out with projects real soon.
Who is the biggest artist you have produced for or worked with?
