We are Final Penalty (Chef B) & (Mr Cutlass), we are from Rantoul, Illinois which is about 10 minutes away from Champaign-Urbana.  Central Illinois.

Introduce yourselves and tell us where you’re from?

What’s the scene like out there?
Mr Cutlass:  The scene out here is pretty much dog eat dog,  A lot of hustlers out for self.

What music was bumping when you where coming up and what are your music influences?
Chef B:  We grew up on Rap-A-Lot, The SPC, NWA, Above The Law,  Ice T, Three 6 Mafia, Esham and Natas, Dayton Family, Top Authority, Spice 1, Too $hort, and a whole lot more, way too many to name.  We were heavily influenced by all of the above.

What releases have you had out?
Mr Cutlass:  Death Is In The Air, Fear Of The Unknown, and my solo project The Chop Shop. We also have Penalized which features the fan favorites chopped and screwed.

What artists have you collaborated with and who would you like to collaborate with?
Chef B:  We have only collaborated with local artists, but we are in touch with a few Chicago-based rappers and would like to work with any real hustlers.

Who does your production on your music?
Mr Cutlass:  My brother, the one and only Chef B.

What equipment do you use?
Chef B:  Roland Groovebox- Mc 505, Boss Br-1600Cd Multitracker, and recently added ProTools for mixing.

Have you got any music videos on youtube we could check out?
Mr Cutlass:  Not yet, but I'm working on it, just recently got my hands on Sony Vegas so we should have some in the near future.

What is the best website to purchase your music?
Mr Cutlass: Right now Cdbaby.com

You also chop and screw music how did you get into that?
Mr Cutlass:  We grew up on DJ Screw, and I just wanted to incorporate that sound into our music.

If people want to book you for a show or collaborate what is the best way to get hold of you?
Chef B:  myspace, reverbnation, facebook, or our youtube accounts.

What else have you got planned for 2010 and the future?
Mr Cutlass:  We are about to release our 5th project The Cost Of Living real soon.  We are also working on a compilation called Strength In Numbers.

Any thing you want to add or shoutout?
