With release of his album "The Hated" just around the corner Rago Magazine managed to catch up with J Blaque to give us the lowdown on his new project

Introduce your self and tell us where you’re from?

This ya N***a J Blaque one of the most hated artist to come out on this devil shyt. I rep D.C, that's my area that's where I was born and my people be. I have been around the way though. I done lived in TX, NC, SC, and spent a lil time in GA. So that's where I get my down-south roots from. Just in case n***az wonderin why I rock a grill in da mouth. I directed all of The DJ Fire & J Blaque underground videos, commercials and ect. I used to mess with graphics but Im a leave it to the professionals. I did do that Plagued by Demons cover though.

What’s the scene like out there?

The scene right now is not looking too good. This recession is really hurting a lot of my people out here. People loosing jobs, houses and ect. Funk ass managers tryna hold n***az down and shit. I'll tell you what though, people are doing whatever it takes to survive and feed them kids. Despite what they do, they get my respect because they aint laying down for nan n***a.

What music was bumping when you where coming up?

Shit I bumped Triple Six Mafia since the early 90's. I was real big on No Limit Records in 97-98, every Tuesday a n***a was at Bestbuy getting a new release. I aint care who it was as long as No Limit was on the back of the case.

Your music has definitely got dark hardcore feel for people that haven’t had chance to check your music what can they expect to here.

J Blaque is and will never try to cater to the "music industry" standards. I'm not tryna get on the radio. See the type of music I like, is the type of music that I do. A n***a like music that makes a n***a want to whoop a n***a ass. I like shit I can channel my rage through that's why I make the type of music I do. I will never change. I will never be in this game for money. I know a lot of n***az say that and then flip the script when get that check. But not me, besides I aint broke, been had money do you hear me

You had 2 albums you released with DJ Fire called Plagued By Demons & Dark Rituals tell us about that?

Oh man, if you aint heard these albums and you like devil shyt or underground bump. What the hell you waiting for? Well Plagued came out of nowhere. We started working on this in 2009 when Fire was working on his Sins of Evil album. It is a very well put together EP. You can listen to it from start to finish; We got 3 underground videos for it. Where do I start with Dark Rituals? Man that is a classic album on the underground level. All tracks are produced by DJ Fire. We got Lord Infamous, Koopsta Knicca, Mc Mack, LA Chat, K Rock and many more on it. This is a very hard album I recommend that you don't have a gun in hand or any weapons while you bump this. After the response from Plagued By Demons, it was a must that we made a full length album. So with Dark Rituals I said fuck it time to pull out all the stops.

What other artists have you worked with?

Well besides my n***a DJ Fire, I have worked with Lord Infamous, Koopsta Knicca, Mc Mack, LA Chat, K Rock, Prime Evilz family, Mr. Evil, TX Knicca, Double E manne, Da Evilist, Dosia Demon, DJ Konflict, Taryn Larue, Capptial of Crime Mafia, Grey Ghost, Big Cam and Lady Murda. One thing I gotta say is a n***a is all about collabs, so if you on this evil shit like me, hit me up and we can do something.

Your about to release your solo album The Hated tell us about that what we can expect to hear on that?

Feburary 16, 2010 The Hatred will be out! All you can expect from this is channeled hate. Rage, darkness and pain. And that is real talk. The demons that reside in my soul come out to play on this album.

Who did the production on the album?

DJ Fire produced most of the album. I got a track from my dude in Virginia named Big Cam, been cool with him for years. I have two tracks produced by Mc Mack. Also two tracks from Homie beats. All the beats are hard as hell, evil, and scary.

What are all your websites and myspaces so people can check out your music?

www.youtube.com/LordVacidian  www.myspace.com/372977714
www.theinfamousdjfire.com  and www.iapstore.com

Where can people buy your music?

You can take your ass straight to the www.iapstore.com  and get them albums. We bout to get on iTunes and all them other junts. In the coming weeks so be on the lookout. We sell CD format and MP3.

If people want to book you for a show or collaborate what is the best way to get hold of you?

Shit hit me up on myspace or even on youtube. You aint getting my number

What else have you got planned for 2010 and the future?

2010 DJ Fire and I got a lot of releases planned. One thing about us is that if we say something is dropping on a date. It will come out on that date. Come Hell or highwater. After the Hatred album we putting out the Crime Mafia No Sympathy album. That junt is more like a compilation album. I'm on about 7 tracks so you gonna hear that J Blaque style on there. DJ Fire has Chapter 2 Lord of Evil dropping around May. Me and DJ Fire got a new album in the works called Demonoligy. I'm getting Queen T ready to come out with some shit. 2010 look out for our hood ass movie. This gonna be the I'm Bout it of the 21st Century. Nothing but death, drugs, sex and nudity. Female nudity that is, ass and titties. That's what I like to see, how bout you? DJ Fire is doing the score for the film, We gonna have a soundtrack for it too, nothing but underground shit. Im a reach out to the underground network to see who wanna jump on this junt.

Any thing you want to add or shoutout?

I'm gonna have to give it up to DJ Fire .I wouldn't be rapping if it wasn't for him. He been a brother to me in this shit. Even past this music shit, this is my n***a. I'm down for this n***a do you hear me. So fuck a studio, any of you hoes got anna with Fire in these streets get at me. And this aint no tuff talk because a n***a on the PC. Some of you hoes no where to find me. Shout to my girl Queen T, she is my artist, she on my album. She is real street, real hood. I got to book her studio sessions whenever she is out of trouble and the cuffs is off. Sup 29, he a real n***a, he looking out for me and Fire on this IAP store. Shit what it do LATE, I appreciate you taking the time to get the word of J Blaque out, much respect. Keepa is a real mutha fucka the true Texas titan. What up DJ Big Doeja holdin it down in the N.O.
