Introduce yourself and tell us where you’re from? What’s the scene like out there? Man i was pretty much raised of good music, from Michael Jackson, Bob Marley, Fela Kuti ( My Nigerian Roots are showing lol), Stevie Wonder, ABBA, to Wu-Tang, 2Pac, Nas, Common, Black Star ( Mos Def & Talib Kweli) it's crazy my mother bumped everything and anything that sounded good, never a dull moment in the house musically. What releases/mixtapes have you had out? I've put out about 2 tapes with my Crew EMS (Unwritten History 1 & Unwritten History 2) as well as 3 solo tapes ( Early May, Retro May ( Early May Mixtape 2), & my current tape Mo' Retro ( Early May 3 Mixtape ), I'm currently working a few projects at the moment which I'm excited about one with this dope producer named Jerz (Produced "Lookin' Up" on Mo' Retro Early May 3) from New Jersey called "MayJerzachussetts Island " it's a project which Jerz will handle all of the production hoping to get that out early 2012 , I'm also looking to drop Early May 3.5 The Collabs Which is just a tape that will have unreleased joints and collabs that have yet to be heard, this is just to hold people over till Early May 4 is ready, looking to drop that spring time of 2012, Hoping once everyone in EMS is done doing projects that we'll bang out another tape, and as well as begin working on my Lets Make Enemies Project with my brother Tha Silent Partner ( Who I run Waasawki Music Group with), Phew I know it's alot ha ha but the motto is to stay busy! Shout Out to the Legendary Craig G, that man is one hard working dude, we'll it basically came about just by us reaching out to him, I've always loved his work and at the the time He had just finished doing some work with my EMS Brothers M-Dot & DJ Jean Maron for their RUN MPC album , so we had the single and we figured we'll reach out and get the Legend to drop a legendary 16 on it which he did, and the rest is history. I've worked with a lot of guys both coming up and those who have made their mark in the game, from My EMS crew ( M-Dot, Revalation,Strick 9, Kore, Desco, Tyla ) To Craig G, Sha Stimuli, to my Big Brother Si Phili of Phi-Life Cypher, Tribeca , Boycott Blues, King Magnetic, Ellementt ,Dominique Larue, Jayo & TRM team, Fedd Hill, man just a lot of peeps man haha i'm tryna get on everything, as far as production wise Domingo, Skammadix, Reckonize Real Richy Spitz ,Pause Beats, Empne, Gajos, Symphonik Bang, My Brother Tha Silent Partner, DJ Jessya, Kore of EMS , The Naysayers ( DJ Family Tyz, Micah Tha Edutainer, & Super Dave) Soul Infected man so many dope producers and rappers worldwide man sorry to those i may have left out i got y'all next time around. I mean the " I Ain't Lyin'" single and video over 5,000 views in a month which is dope, its def been a huge look for me its all over the Internet right now, to being able to get exposure on an international scale , to performing all over the states , I mean its probably a lot more career highlights but I'm just grateful to be heard and to be considered apart of the culture of what we call hip hop and I am looking forward to many more achievements. Right now the best way to find out bout new stuff and just music in general with me is either my Facebook page www.facebook.com/bodybymay Myspace www.Myspace.com/mayhemofems Twitter www.Twitter.com/mayhemofems Reverbnation www.Reverbnation.com/mayhemofems Right now My website www.Mistamayhem.com is under construction and is gearing up to be launched real soon .
