Rago Magazine hoooked up with Memphis rapper Memph Thugga to get the lowdown
Introduce yourself and tell us where you’re from?
I am, Memph Thugga from Memphis, TN.
What’s the scene like out there?
The scene is looking fairly well. We got a lot of got spots supporting upcoming artist as far as showcases and open mic events. We also got a few guys making noise in the industry like Don Trip, Lil Lody, and Young Dolph.
What music was bumping when you were coming up?
I was Mainly on Three Six Mafia, and then I was big on Yo Gotti when he first hit the scene. I later moved to the ATL where T.I. Young Jeezy, and Gucci Mane when they were upcoming.
What releases/mixtapes have you had out?
I have two mixtapes out right now. “100 % Real” and “100 % Real Mix” both available at www.DatPiff.com
What artists have you collaborated with?
I have collaborated with numerous upcoming artists such as: Fresh Van Go, Bontino Swagg Lee, Lil Pimp, Big Los, Big Joe and star of MVR, Daryl Washington of the Arizona Cardinals, D.B.P. Phaze, Berretta Mane, C Bap, and a few others. (No Majors)
What producers have you worked with?
I have worked with A.T. (Akstk Tactician), J Mak, Coogi Dame, Fresh Van Go, Protégé, Lady Kodak, N-Squad Beatz, Freddy K, Yung Smith, and a couple others.
What have been the highlights of your career so far?
The highlight of my career has to be my whole youtube channel. (Laughs)
