MURDER DOG MAGAZINE - Young Buck Cover
This is the REALITY RAP BIBLE bible. Ever since it started this publication has expressed interest in the underground US scene. As well as interviewing well known names they dig a little deeper and focus on real cutting edge breaking talent. The way in which it is actually written gives it such a unique style making this one of our favourite Hip-Hop magazines of all time. The interviews are direct and on point and they print exactly what the artist says word for word (and we know because they did a Wolftown six page feature!!!). This issue has really interesting interviews with the likes of Kurupt talking about his return to Deathrow as Senior Vice President, and getting the low-down on QB's Finest Mobb Deep. Young Buck chats G Unit and Lil Flip gets deep and dirty about his new album. The legendary MC Eiht tells it how it is and Lil Scrappy, Cormega, Yukmouth, Mr. Cheeks and The Relativez also feature. It's not all about big names though in Murder Dog, peep interviews with The Federation, whose new joint with E40 is the shizzle, Immortal Soldierz, West Coast Mafia, Bukshot, Potluck, as well as a sick report on the scene in Louisville in Kentucky. What we love about Murder Dog is not just the excellent way it is written and presented, and that they are now doing CD compilations too, as well as the fact that the full interviews are on line at www.murderdog.com! This magazine is simply the bomb and an essential read. It's easily worth the $3.95, (that's £2.06 in the UK - Feb 2005), and is something you need to cop.
