UNDERCOVER MAGAZINE - Issue 20, February 2005
Undercover Magazine has come on heaps and bounds since its birth a few years back. Based in London, England this publication supports the underground Hip-Hop movement and focuses on cutting edge UK and US acts as well as giving up all the latest information on reggae, funk, UK garage, Soul/R’n’B, breakbeat, drum’n’bass and leftfield acts. It’s a publication that is aimed at heads who like good music and it is very rare to find any real wack emcees featured in here. These guys do keep it pure. This issue links up Roots Maunva, Taskforce and Sway from the UK as well interviewing Hip-Hop legends Premo, AG and Afrika Bambaataa, as well as Plant Life and Capleton. The reviews in this magazine are always on point and they make a real effort to keep things fresh with news and tour dates etc. Something else that needs mentioning here too is that this magazine has a free CD on the front which is always a superb listen. For the price of this magazine it really is something you need to subscribe too. Undercover, underground and real.
Price: £3.25
