Let’s got to East London, not for 140bpm fused grime but for some good wholesome Hip-Hop with bags of style and loads of finesse. Lyrically Cyclonious gives us more than most MC’s in the UK at the moment and his musical sound is shaped up from discussing life issues. His social commentary is not just entertaining but also very inspiring. His last two mixtapes ‘Poetically Scripted’ and ‘Verbal Graffiti’ both impressed me, but this new mixtape is a real good progression from those releases. This release features the massive underground single ‘Against The Beast’ which features Jay Jay and Nate which is my favourite track of the year so far. Big Cakes, TBear and Omega also feature too, making this one hell of a way to see in 2011. Go and grab this release, you definitely need it in your UK Rap collection.
