New York DJ and hit-maker DJ Absolut teams up with Lupe Fiasco for this short but very satisfying mixtape. Twelve tracks deep, this mix kind of benefits from not having that many tracks. Once you’ve bumped it, you’ve just gotta bump it again and again! Lupe Fiasco is a Chicago rapper that has already proved his talents with three credible and successful albums now under his belt. His debut album ‘Food & Liquor’ hitting number one in the US Billboard Rap charts and even reaching number 31 in the UK album sales chart. He definitely has mass appeal but release like this also reminds us that the boy can spit too for real Hip-Hop headz. I like this mixtape and is actually one of the few mixtapes in 2010 that I bumped more than once.
