 DJ GRIND & SWIFT BEATS ‘Swag Music’ www.myspace.com/swiftmusicuk www.djgrind.co.uk Ten tracks deep this new mixtape from Wolverhampton’s Swift is well worth checking out if you like that swagger rap! Kicking off with ‘Arab Money’ with some nice energetic hosting from DJ Grind this one bangs hard with boastful bars. Then we get a barrage of bangers such as ‘Don’t C U’ which sees Swift give up more quality bars as he gets deep about his life in one bar and says ‘Stunting like my mamma told me/Daddy wasn’t there for me/Hip-Hop raised what the f**k did you expect from me/I’m the product of environment/who won’t hesitate to get violent’. Other tracks on this mixtape include the Swift Beats produced ‘Number 1’ which sees some solid production lay down the perfect backing for Swift’s slick and smooth lyrics. ‘Swagger Like Swift’ is of course a freestyle over T.I’s anthem, but to be honest I am so fed up of hearing that beat now I just can’t listen to it anymore! That’s not me hating on Swift just being real! LOL. This is a solid mixtape and DJ Grind has put together the mixtape well.
