More of that real Hip-Hop here from the Triple Darkness camp. Here we get twenty two tracks from Phoenix Da Icefire that is hosted by his label mate M9 and mixed up by DJ Roast. Its all good stuff with some nice conscious and uplifting tracks. Feeling ‘Purple Mist’ featuring D21 which has a nice off key type of jazz toned beat, also ‘Use Your Imagination’ impressed me. M9 features on two tracks ‘Higher Learning’ and ‘Spirtual Scrolls’ both well worth checking.

If you think it is icy right now this is just the warm up as PHOENIX DA ICEFIRE is soon to be dropping his solo debut album 'THE QUANTUM LEAP' which features KYZA and TRIPLE DARKNESS who recently formed the new super group ORPHANS OF CUSH. With the consistently sterling beatsmith CHEMO taking on all production duties this will be a follow up not to be missed. Big up Phoenix Da Icefire for a sick release.
