MONEYMAKERS... From the brilliant mind of David Cowboy Keary and in conjunction with Co-Director/Videographer Charles M. Robinson of Northern Lights High Definition Video, comes a new film, MoneyMakers. The film digs deep into the struggles of inner city teens, who are consumed with the chase for the money and the power. In the new powerful movie, four inner city teens anxiously search for a way out of the hood and ways to gain prosperity. Big dreams and hopes to live a better life fuel their desire to achieve more, but they are caught up in drugs and violence. Eventually the money, power, and greed overcome the boys friendship, with causes jealousy and betrayal within the crew, which leads to their tragic downfall. Guest appearances from Young Buck, Pimpin Ken, Webbie, and others are scheduled. The film is slated to start production in March 2009. The Movie will be distributed worldwide, and will also be available at local rental stores, on demand, and syndicated television. Stay tuned for new updates!
David Cowboy Keary has helped to lay a foundation for southern hip-hop and entertainment. He started his record label Buck Wild Records in 1998. He has since released numerous projects, and sold over 100,000 CDs independently, securing distribution deals with companies like Southwest Wholesale, Select-O-Hits, KOCH, Universal Records, and Sony Red. Cowboy is also the creator and publisher of the nationally distributed and renowned publication Urban Living Magazine. The magazine was created in 2003 and was sold to a Canadian publishing company in 2007. Urban Living received national praise and was a prominent publication in the urban media field, being distributed in New York City, Los Angeles, and Chicago newsstands, in addition to Books-A-Million, Hastings, Borders, Circle K, Wal-Mart, Kroger, and other major chains.
